Observation Guideline
- Observation of the Championship is only allowed from break rounds (in elementary school championship, not all but 3rd & 4th main rounds). Observation is allowed for the Opening Ceremony and Break announcements held on the first day of the tournament but is not allowed for the Orientation and other preliminary rounds.
- Parents, school teachers, coaches, and the general public may wait at the Parents Waiting Room. Progress of the tournament will be shared through the homepage and text messages.
- Please pay attention to the following instructions before observing.
- You may watch a debate, following the directions from judges and staff members.
- You may not enter or exit during speech.
- Cellphones, cameras, recorders, or any portable storage device are not allowed to use.
- Any actions that may disturb the speech are strongly prohibited (eating, chatting, etc.).
- Below are cases where adjudicators may order the audience out of the room.
- During the round, adjudicators think that the observation is against fair play.
※ In spite of feedback from adjudicators, if parents (guardians) do not accept and keep complaining, the organizing committee would have a discussion after the tournament and make a follow-up announcement.
